My First NET

I participated in my first NET this Monday! I joined in on the Keystone VHF Club NET in Pennsylvania on their 2M frequency. I was confused when I should join in, so I called in during the “anyone we missed” section.

It was fun to participate, get some of the radio nervousness out. Still trying to get comfortable transmitting over the waves, ya know. Going to take time being comfortable with interacting over the public airwaves.

I recorded the net so I could transcribe it and get all the callsigns given, because they speak so dang quickly, I tried writing callsigns manually, but I only managed to get a few of them written, and even fewer written correctly! I don’t want to publish anything though, since I don’t think that’d be proper behaviour.
