After getting my amateur radio Technician license, I decided to also get myself the kd3bqp.radio domain name to act as a home for any of my radio-related projects.

I currently have three handheld radios, two VHF/UHF transponders, and a GMRS transponder. – For GMRS, a Radioddity GM-30 Plus. – I got the Explorer QRZ-1 through the introductory deal for new operators. – I got the BTECH UV-PRO because I liked it, and really wanted the TNC feature.

Operating out of York, PA, almost all my TX is expected to be blocked by propagation estimators, and even at locations it isn’t, my handhelds just don’t seem strong enough, or their antennas are just really low quality, who knows?
